Goodbye George W. Bush: Our Favorite President
MrFeminist.com Open Letter to President George W. Bush
Dear Mr. President,
I am writing you this letter to thank you for your last 8 years of service. I will get right to it and let you know that you have shown more leadership than anyone I have ever seen. You have lead through brutal attacks on our country by people who do not understand freedom. You have also taken a fair amount of scrutiny from people inside our country who do not understand the challenging decisions associated with real leadership.
For some time the division in the world and our country has weighed heavily on me. However, watching you persevere through the last 8 years with a relentlessly positive attitude, strong will, and record of accomplishments (100 Bush Accomplishments) has been a guiding light for me. The truth of the matter is that this is what freedom is all about. Many will never understand that America is fighting for the same rights that allow them to display their misunderstanding of your efforts.
As for your record, I can not thank you enough for your accomplishments ranging from keeping America safe to promoting liberty and justice abroad. Specifically from a MrFeminist.com point of view, no other President has appointed more women to high office. I also must mention that you have indeed been a role model husband, father and all around family man.
It has been an honor having you as the President of the United States of America.
